What are Zombie Accounts?

Digital accounts that are no longer in use, but remain available creating risk exposure. Also known as abandoned accounts, zombie accounts emerge when there is no verifiable owner of the user account. This happens most often when someone leaves an organization and their access to SaaS applications is never terminated.
