What is Authorization?

The function of specifying access rights and/or privileges to resources, such as SaaS apps, infrastructure, data, or devices and is related to general information security and computer security, and to access control in particular. Dangling access becomes a risk to SaaS security when authorization is maintained longer than user access is justified (e.g. after an employee leaves the organization).
